Created for the One Page Jam!
Up to 4 players are a group of data subjects for a neural-connected AI game with the working title “Curse of Nim”. After first connecting to the server you are unsure how to exit the game and panic sets in as the AI program powering the game has identified you not as players, but an “Advanced Version” of its own model. It begins devising subtle ways to delete you.
- Nim is a mathematical combinatorial game where 2 players remove objects from distinct heaps. The Nimber Sequence is a cooperative, 4 player variation that adds rules from the ice breaker game Two Truths and a Lie.
- The game is about 15 minutes long and does not require a Game Master or dice.
- The Nimber Sequence becomes a roleplaying game if the players guess all the lies incorrectly and find out they actually are a simulation!
